There is a logical law in Economics"Produce the commodity which is more demanded."How can we increase the demand of a particular commodity? You needn't to do much, just put some scientific facts (true or false) covered with a conventional idea.Media and add makers know this art very well. If you can manufacture a vaccine for a slim body, you can sell it easily without any bargaining at desired prices. Here is a more realistic and man made idea.It is a conventional idea that global warming causes climate change. In more detail ,carbon emission resulted from industrialization is responsible for green house effect leading to a higher temperature which in turn will melt the polar ice, causing destruction of coastal cities, and uneven rainfall patterns, which will lead to draught.I don't know these facts are scientific or not.But some people have a few.A Australian geologist Ian Plimer and journalist Christopher Booker has pointed out that though the polar ice layer has become thinner in places,it has also become thicker in others. they say that the snow of Kilimanjaro has melted because of deforestation and not through global warming, the higher temperature in cities are caused by localised"Heat Island" effects not by climate change.
So it is reasonable to think why the polluters (70% of carbon emission has come from developed world) are giving much emphasis on climate change. The answer is very simple. They too want to sell a vaccine to developing world. The name of this vaccine is "green technology." they know very well that it will be demanded more to reduce carbon intensity. And they would make huge money.
